Premier1 members can enter for free by emailing their submissions directly to us. Please mark the competition name and your membership number in the subject field.

This competition is perfect if you have an unpublished novel and would like to enter the first chapter into our fantastic new competition. You can also have your submissions evaluated professionally for an additional £5.00 each.

All we ask is that your first chapter has a maximum of 6000 words and that you are the author.

Your chapter must also be written in English and be previously unpublished.

Multiple submissions are welcome providing that they are matched by the correct fees.

The genre is open and we welcome creative submissions.

Please send your chapter to info@creative-competitor.co.uk and mark First Chapter Writing Competition in the subject line. Although we usually prefer submissions to be pasted into the body of the email, please attach to the email instead for this competition.

We usually allow up to 11 weeks for judging and publishing the overall winner and entry implies acceptance to our rules. Please note that feedback is provided once judging has been completed.
