For this regular monthly writing competition, we asked you to write a complete story in only 65 words or less and, we received some interesting submissions. Many thanks to everyone who entered, we really love your imaginative responses and you make it very difficult to decide the winners.

After much contemplation however, here are the winners for this month and big congratulations to Carol Masters and Bill Peters.

1st Prize: £260.00 Carol Masters

2nd Prize: £195.00 Bill Peters

Bulls-Eye

by Carol Masters

Marie concentrated hard. Luis had helped her time and time again, even placing the target in front of his ‘sensitive regions’ but now, the pressure was on, she had to do it. Concentrating hard, she threw the dart. Bulls-eye! With sheer joy, she cradled her prize from the fairground stall, the huge fluffy teddy bear and knew her poorly daughter would love it. Success!

Please note:  We only publish the overall winner in our writing competitions.
