Welcome to the latest poetry competition from the Creative Competitor. This time, all you need to do is to write about an aspect of Halloween – it can be sinister, thought-provoking or amusing. Just use Halloween as your theme.  Here’s the rules:

Must be written in English

Open to writers worldwide.

Must be original and previously unpublished

Maximum 40 lines

Multiple submissions are welcome providing the correct entry fees are paid

All submissions should be pasted into the body of the email and sent to: [email protected]

Please mark the subject line as: Halloween Poetry Competition.

Ensure that your submissions arrive on or before the closing date.

Please add the PayPal transaction details to the email for proof of payment. Alternatively, please include the PayPal email associated with the payment as this helps us to speed up the process.

Please note that we only publish the overall winning submission which gives writers the opportunity to publish their work elsewhere even when they have won a prize. Copyright remains with the author.
