Now, take a look at the photo and use both to spark off your creativity.

You have just 1000 words or less to bring this story to life and to grab our attention.

Ready? Here’s the rules:

Must be written in English

Must be written in the first person

Must be written in 1000 words or less including the title

Open to writers worldwide

Submissions must be original and previously unpublished

Submissions should be pasted into the body of the email  and sent to [email protected] on or before the 25th November 2015.

Please mark the name of the competition in the subject line.

Write, Learn and Publish members should email their submissions directly to [email protected] and add their membership number to the subject line.

Multiple submissions are welcome.
