Using the photo for inspiration, we would like you to write a story in 1200 words or less. We welcome creativity but note the photo must have some bearing on your story. Your story can be sad, joyous, evocative or be filled with memories, but it must have a start, middle and ending.

All submissions must be unique and previously unpublished

Maximum 1200 words including the title

Must be written in English

We welcome submissions from writers worldwide

We allow up to 11 weeks to judge  and announce winners from January 2014 and entry implies acceptance to all of the rules.

Multiple submissions are acceptable providing the correct entry fee per submission is received.
