This is our biggest prize writing competition ever and there are lots of chances for you to win BIG prize money for your efforts. Even better, the theme is open, so you can send in your favourite story. Please do check out the rules below however.

Maximum word count is 2,500 including the title.

Multiple submissions are welcome providing the correct prize money has been paid.

We welcome submissions from writers – worldwide. Submissions must be written in English

Submissions must be original and previously unpublished.

There is no requirement to request feedback on your submission, this is an additional service for writers to gain an understanding of how their work was viewed throughout the competition. The feedback is thorough.

Please email submissions to info@creative-competitor.co.uk and mark the title of the competition i.e. Open Fiction Writing Competition in the subject line. Premier1 members – please send your submissions directly to this email address including the title of the competition and your membership number in the subject line.

From January 2014, we judge, award and announce competition winners within 11 weeks from the closing date. Entry to this competition implies acceptance to this and to all of the rules.

We only publish the overall winning submission so that those stories may be submitted elsewhere.
