For this writing competition, you have only 800 words to tempt us with your story. It’s all about now or never. Acting in a way that changes the character’s life or, acting and living with regrets. There must be a sense of urgency, a sense of no-tomorrow or, of a vital deadline. As always, we are open to creative interpretation and your story can be amusing or serious. We just want to believe it. With only 800 words, you must start your story at just the right point so to create a compelling plot.
Note: You do not need to use the photo.

Submissions must adhere to the word count. 800 words maximum including the title – which must be Now or Never
Submissions must be in English
Submissions are welcome from writers worldwide but writers must be aged 18 and over to win a cash prize
