Have you ever fancied trying to write for the young adult market? The teenage market is very popular and if you can adapt your writing to connect with today’s teenagers then, you could develop a whole new writing skill and, it can be more than a little lucrative too. If this sounds fun, then have a go with this new writing competition. Create an adventure story, a mystery or just draw on the issues of life but aim for those younger minds and deal with these issues in a way that is relative. Note, you do not have to use the photo above.
You have a maximum of 1500 words (including your choice of title) so consider your story and starting point carefully. We love the YA genre so grip us from the opening paragraph. Do read the rules though.

This is dependent on the number of submissions and the quality of work. Also, word count naturally plays a part in the judging process.
