Hi! I just stumbled upon this writing competition and I’d like to take a go at it. The deadline however is short and I just wanted to make sure that I know exactly what time on January 10th the competition closes. I’m from Canada so I need to account for the difference in time zones. Thank you.

    Julie

  2. Hi,
Because our competitions are open to writers worldwide, we would ask that you submit on or by the closing date (GMT). If submitting by post, then we must ask that we receive your entry on the closing date (GMT) at the latest so allow a little more time. Late entries are disquailified. You can check out time differences on the Internet.
    Hope that helps.
    Annette

  3. Hi,
I’m not sure why you received that error message but don’t worry, I have just checked and we received your submission safe and sound.
    Good luck,
    Annette

I’ve been looking at the recent competition winners and their works are amazing. Has a winner been chosen for the First Line Competition? It’s the only one I cant seem to look at.

  5. Hi! I know this is kinda off topic nevertheless I’d figured I’d ask. Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest writing a blog post or vice-versa? My website discusses a lot of the same subjects as yours and I think we could greatly benefit from each other. If you are interested feel free to send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you! Great blog by the way!

  11. Hi Tim,
The standard is really high for this competition and so it’s making it very difficult to select the winner. Will probably be a few more weeks yet.
