Pets Blog wants Vetinarian

Growing pets advice blog seeks a mutually beneficial partnership with an energetic, friendly veterinarian eager to share knowledge, educate and entertain.

Our weakness as a website is that our writers have been non-professionals in animal care and treatment. We’re just people who love pets and enjoy writing about them. We need a veterinarian who will become the new face of our website, essentially. You get your photo plastered on the site. You get a detailed bio, with links to your own website, social media sites or product landing page. This is a great way to hit the ground running to promote your practice, for example. You have to do ZERO work on the blog itself. We handle all upkeep of the blog. It remains our property and we retain all rights to anything you write for our site, but you would be seen as the face of our site.

We would ask for 1 original article per week of around 700 words each. These weekly articles could cover any topic of your choosing. That said, we would expect in-depth information from a vet’s perspective. For example, a detailed look at how you treated a cat with a torn nail, etc. The idea is that this would be a unique article presented by a medical professional that rises above all the amateur, eHow-type stuff out there that really doesn’t provided detailed helpful information. We might also have questions from readers from time to time that you can either provide a quick answer to via email or turn into one of your weekly articles.

Payment: $25 per article
