Identity theft is a horrible crime and the negative impact on the victim’s life can be far reaching. Using the photo for inspiration write a story where someone has had their identity stolen and paint a picture in words so that we can see just how their life has changed as a result. What happens and if or how it is resolved is up to you, just make sure that you send your entry in by the closing date if you wish to stand a chance of winning any of our fantastic prizes.

Your submission must be written in English and have a maximum of 3000 words.

Submissions must be original and previously unpublished.

Submissions must have the correct entry fee paid via PayPal.

Email your submission to [email protected] and mark the subject line Mistaken Identity.

 

From 2013, all of our writing competitions will be judged, awarded and published within 12 weeks from the closing date.
