Are you up for the challenge? Can you tap into the dark realms of your mind and craft a psychological thriller? We are hoping you can. For this writing competition, we are open to creative interpretation and you can make it as dark and as sinister as you like. Stretch the boundaries of this competition and you could be one of our winners. To give you a chance of winning, think about your starting point very carefully, you need to build up the tension and make us think deeply about the plot and any in-built layers.

Submissions must be original and previously unpublished
Submissions must adhere to the word count. 1200 words maximum including the title – which is of your choice
Submissions must be in English
Submissions are welcome from writers worldwide but writers must be aged 18 and over to win a cash prize
