Thank you to everyone who entered this 65 Little Words Writing Competition. We have had great fun deciding the winners and although it was difficult as there were so many creative submissions, we are happy to announce the following winners and, to publish the overall winning submission.

His shoes were really there – again. Fear rose within. It was impossible, she had buried them with Max, her dead husband. He had screamed revenge as she’d hit him with the spade and covered him with layers of soil. Heart pounding, she shivered turning back to the house. Distinct muddy footprints on her new white carpet. Max was home.
