A large green website is seeking part-time research & writing interns. Interns are responsible for online research and writing for both short and long-form original content. Interns will have the opportunity to research timely environmental topics such as sustainability, environmentalism and current events. Freelance Writer/Editor/Proofreader

Monthly publication of 47th St. Business Improvement District – the Diamond District. Previous editions of the publication can be viewed on our website by clicking on the DDMonthly button.
Approximately half the writing will be original stories and half will be rewriting press releases and stories that appear in other trade publications. Most of the interviews can be done by telephone. You will occasionaly be required to attend BID or industry sponsored event to cover for the magazine. You will have to come into the BID office located in midtown once a month to put the magazine together with the publisher and ad sales person.

Compensation: $15 per hour- 15-25 hours a week
