For this brand new writing competition, you have just 350 words to craft a story about something you have witnessed and perhaps shouldn’t have.  this doesn’t have to be a crime unless you choose to write about one, it could be an indiscretion, an accident or, something else. We don’t mind. Just remember you have just 350 words including the title Witnessed.

Rules:

Submissions must be received on or before the closing date

Submissions must be written in English

Multiple submissions are acceptable providing the correct entry fees are paid

Stories must be original and previously unpublished

Please paste your submission into the body of the email and mark the subject line Witnessed Writing Competition

Note: We endeavour to judge, award and publish the winner within 14 weeks from the closing date but this does depend on the number of submissions, the quality of work received and the difficulties in the judging process. Therefore, this is an approximate estimate and entry implies acceptance to the rules.
