Your poem(s) can be on any subject or in any form but they must be original and also previously unpublished.

 As our writing/poetry competitions are for money, writers must be 18 and over to win a cash prize.

 Please note that it can take some time for our poetry competitions to be judged and the winners announced. The length of time is dependant on the number of submissions received. We take the judging process very seriously and ensure that the best submission wins. This means that each submission is read and re-read to build up a high quality short list and then the process begins again.

  2. Hello Janet,
    The length of time it takes to judge submissions varies due to the quantity received for each competition as each submission is read carefully, reviewed and re-selected to the next stage if meets the designated criteria. This continues until we have a shortlist of submissions. As you can imagine, this can be a timely process sometimes several months.
